I don’t think anyone correctly guessed the Batik one back in 2020, probably because they were mostly Indonesian domestic (with some Malaysian routes).

They are a much more frequent visitor to Australia these days, especially as Malindo (Malaysian/Indonesian joint venture) has rebranded as Batik Malaysia.

Let’s see what I pull out of the cutlery draw this evening!

Crikey - this is the most ozbargain thread I've seen on AFF 🤣

I souvenired a blanket from someone else's seat on a Y Garuda flight in 2008 which I leave in the car as it's very useful for sunsets at the beach and the like. I always get a case of the guilts when I see it! Will have to lift my game here.

I wouldn’t feel guilty… it would have long been replaced by now! New design. So it would have been thrown out/recycled anyway :)

Same for cutlery. 😳

I acquired some PK cutlery back in the 70s and my father made me return it 'to teach me a lesson about honesty'. Didn't stop him from acquiring a huge collection of hotel 'Do not Disturb' signs that still sit on the back of the bathroom door years after his death...

Its genetic
I found an ashtray from the Cipriani ā€˜acquired’ by my parents. I also like using DO NOT DISTURB signs on bathrooms… although less now that tech involved

A favorite is a large hand blown glass petrie dish (including lid) from a hotel in Taormina; each night, it would arrive with special chocolates in it for turn down. It now houses ā€˜collected’ spoons.
