I fly with UAL all the time and over the last few months their service has been getting worse and worse. Not only are there less and less ammenities but the flight attendants have been a little nasty (understandable, considering their situation). The last flight I was on (SFO-SYD) was different. A very nice young flight attendant took the time to actually have a conversation with me (I was in business) and made the flight much shorter.

So, I promised her that I would mention a new movie called "The Aviary" on the few forums I belong to. She told me it was made by another flight attendant (UAL, too, I think) and gave me a copy.

To my shock, the movie is very well done. Great actors, engaging story and breathtaking photography.

You can watch the trailer and read about the FA who made it at:

What do you mean a few forums belong to? You've only just joined AFF!

Methinks you're the same person who posted identically on FT.

    FT would be Flyertalk

As Kiwi Flyer is a Moderator on that BB, I'd think he'd know that you just posted the same message on both Boards. The search function isn't that difficult to use.

    The Aviary

This is a good way to scare off new posters, I suppose. I'll be sure to think twice before posting again so as not to be accused of being dishonest.

I too fly all the time with UAL and overall I would say their service is no better or worse than other airlines I have flown with on a regular basis. I haven't noticed that there has been any lessening of the amentities provided, maybe you could elaborate.

I think overall, on any given day with any given airline the inflight service can vary from outstanding to poor. Compared to some of the experiences posted by our QANTAS frequent flyer posters, I'd say that the level of service on UAL is not too bad.

My experience has been that the UAL flight attendants are quite friendly and ameniable. I never get on board a plane with the expectation of being treated as a god, I just want to have a comfortable and safe journey and have the basics of good service.

I like UAL but I think their service is on the way down. I am happy to hear about the movie" The Aviary" does the producer /flight attendant work for UAL still?
