In planning our One World Award we have an itinerary that includes arriving in PER with CX (at T1), then a domestic QF leg (from T3/4) to BNE. Of course we will clear customs after the CX flight, but can we re-check our luggage in T1 (for the BNE flight) before catching the inter-terminal shuttle, or do our suitcases come with us on the shuttle bus?

Apologies if this has been asked, and answered, before.

Both BNE and SYD have landside bagdrop counters in the international arrivals halls.. I think PER used to have one.

Qantas.com is not helpful on this, there is no mention of luggage at all in the transfers section:

At least the transfer bus is "luggage friendly" should that be needed.

Qantas used to have a tranfer desk. I don't think it is there since they moved their ops across to T3/4.
