transfer from VA BNE to Syd and then VS Syd to HKG

Hi All,

Haven't tried this as I usually stick with OW or all QF, and I know it works with them.

I'm looking at flying domestically with VA and then on a separate VS booking fly SYD to HKG.

Is it possible to through check all the luggage to HKG and remove the need to collect and check-in @ Sydney T1 as we are on a tight timeframe.

Nope, i tried this VA to NZ on separate PNRs through both Call centres and they said it was not possible. Linking the PNRs would not help either.
