I have a stop-over in Tokyo inbound to Narita then Haneda back to Sydney. The flight (JAL/QF) is purchased from QF. Do I have to arrange for the transfer between the 2 airports by myself?
Thanks in advance.

Yep, but it's easy. Just take the limousine bus between the two. Leaves from just outside arrivals, arrives just outside departures, and it's easy no matter how much luggage you have.

Yes, you are responsible for making your own way between NRT and HND.

It's not cheap though.

These costs need to be factored into your trip budget.

For early morning arrivals and transfers the train is the way to go... the bus doesn't start running as early.

And just to emphasise... YOU must collect and take your bags with you!

I took the bus HND-NRT in Oct. QF into HND and JL NRT-JFK. Was in the NRT F lounge by 0830.

The first HND-NRT bus departs at 0625, the first NRT-HND bus departs at 0655. Trip is ¥3100 and takes 65-85 mins.
The first NRT-HND through train (no transfers) departs NRT at 0520 and takes over 2 hours.

You really don't want to take a through train between airports, especially if you have large bags. They are regular trains with little to no baggage storage and operate on the main lines of 3 different train companies, including one of the Tokyo Subway lines.

JAL will only tag your luggage to NRT so you must collect your bags, clear customs then transfer by limo or train to HND before checking in again there for the HND/SYD flight.

Last year I used a tout as I'd missed the bus and couldn't be bothered waiting for the next one ( Early morning departure ex HND). $300.00 dollars later ...... I miscalculated the zero's on his quote.... but he drove like a maniac and it only took 45 mins

I flew in on NH880... arrived early...around 5am....

The flight NRT-ORD was not all that much later...and I wanted to have time to shower before boarding...waiting another hour at HND seemed like a bore...
No problem finding a corner on the train for myself and bags... it really only fills up later in the trip...
