Training DJ A330 pilots

How do Virgin train their A330 pilots ? Do they poach them from other airlines ? Do they send a few 737 pilots to Dubai to train with Emirates ? Which simulator do they use ? How long does it take for 737 pilots to achieve an A330 endorsement ?

Well SQ have 19 A330's so maybe they would send them to SIN,(of course they could always send them to QF who have A330 simulators in both SYD and MEL :mrgreen

I believe a bunch were sent to Toulouse (spelling). Then some to Hong Kong. More to KL. And Check/Training Captains are doing final signing off on random empty flights around Aust - would love to be a passenger on one of those empty flights around Oz.
