Torn between DT @ KL and the Westin @ Bukit Bintang

I'm torn between the doubletree @ KL and the westin at bukit bintang.

What do you think is the better choice? I would prefer to go by LRT/monorail if possible as I dislike the taxi's as they all have no meters!

Never done the Westin, have done the DT

Its probably not as good locale as the Westin but transport is easy with a short work to Ampang Station on the LRT

AFAIK no issues at all, the IC is across the road and KLCC a short walk.

There is also a free shuttle bus from DT to Bukit Bintang (one direction only and on a limited schedule, but can be useful).

hi- have stayed in club suites at both- zero issue with safety- can read extensive review of mine on tripadvisor. For the money the DT wins - significantly cheaper but small inconvenience in terms of transport, Westins location cant be beat. There is a free bus that goes to both klcc and bukit bintang from across the road in front of the IC- runs every 20 mins. there is also a DT shuttle bus 12 seater but found it impossible to get on -way overused. I had kids in tow also so even less issue without...
