I have forgotten to post this so its a little late, but its a quick overview of my experience at the DT in KL.

Area:
Located in the Ampang Park neighbourhood across from the IC and a short walk from KLCC. There is a shopping centre across the road with a variety of offerings on a multitude of floors and the Ampang Park LRT is a short walk using covered elevated walkways from the LRT station. The complex the DT is mostly office space, however Perth residents will appreciate the "Dome" coffee shop at the main entrance giving them a touch of home in KL.

Check in

Very efficient and of course includes the famous cookie, as I mentioned in another thread there has been some speculation that these can become addictive and alter your appearance, this did not happen to me, I took a picture just to be sure:

Bathroom entry with toilet in front, wash basin on left and wet area on right:

And the wet area, essentially the shower is located over the standing area should you be waiting for the bath to fill

It is nice, if you don't look too closely at things (which is so KL), such as the power outlets not being horizontal. I see a market opportunity for spirit levels in Malaysia, just like ten years ago I saw one for pedestrian crossings and traffic lights but someone beat me, not that drivers at Sentral pay any attention to traffic lights!

My room was not the highest category, there are a few suites that have outdoor terraces.

There is a lounge which I had photos of but cannot seem to locate them, its very nice and the food offerings are decent to the point where you can forget needing Dinner. There was some complaints on opening about the lack of drinks, this seems to have been rectified now as there are plenty of options including spirits, although during my stay I was intrigued by the lack of Scotch as an offering!

Here is a good review that includes some photos including the pool area which is nice.
