TT251 (1440 mid afternoon Tuesday 2 October SYD down to MEL, A320 VH-VNB) was in the sky at 1530. Consequently, arrival is delayed until a forecast 1657 hours, 42 minutes behind schedule. As this aircraft's next scheduled flight is not until 1825 hours ex MEL (back to SYD: TT264), that should, fingers crossed, be punctual. Tuesday is typically the weekday with lowest demand which accounts for the lengthy turnaround for a supposedly efficient low cost airline.

TT252 (Wednesday 4 October 1530 hours MEL up to SYD) is predicted to depart an hour late.

Later, TT279, the 2025 hours southbound ex SYD for MEL took off at 2117 with A320 VH-VNF. Arrival should be at 2244 hours, 44 minutes tardy.

The earlier scheduled TT520 (1035 MEL - BNE that took off at 1133 hours, A320 VH-VNG) should arrive at 1238, 48 minutes late.

The Friday 6 October 2017 TT211 (0640 hours early morning SYD down to MEL that was airborne at 0728) should arrive at 0851 hours, 36 minutes late. VH-XUG is the A320.

Mid afternoon on a Saturday with unremarkable pleasant weather and little wind is not when one might expect the highest prevalence of holding patterns into MEL, but on 7 October it is affecting quite a few arrivals. TT247 (1350 hours SYD - MEL that took off at 1435, about 30 - 35 late, with A320 VH-VNF) was above Mt Buller, Vic in the usual southbound holding position at 1535. Arrival is suggested as 1609, 44 late.

Northbound TT242 is worse, with this scheduled 1345 ex MEL becoming airborne at 1525. Arrival for VH-VNC in SYD should be at about 1634, 84 late.

Sunday 8 October's TT251 (scheduled 1440 hours mid afternoon SYD down to MEL that was in the sky at 1528 with A320 Vh-VNO) looks to be pulling in at about 1658 hours, 43 minutes behind the schedule.

A heavy storm looks to be about to hit MEL at about 1940 local time on Sunday 8 October 2017.

TT263, 1725 hours SYD - MEL that was airborne at 1826 (A320 VH-VNJ) is arriving at roughly 1956, 56 minutes tardy.

TT703 (1130 CFS - MEL that was in the sky at 1241 on Monday 9 October, A320 VH-VNO) should arrive at 1430 this afternoon, an hour behind schedule.

TT264 (evening 1825 hours Tuesday 10 October MEL - SYD that was in the sky at 1925, A320 VH-VNF) should arrive at 2030 hours, 40 minutes late.

TT252 (1`530 hours MEL - SYD on Wednesday 11 October that did not become airborne until 1646 hours, B738 VH-VUB) should arrive at around 1756 hours, 61 minutes late. This aircraft may have required maintenance, or have been defective this morning as its first duty was TT228 (scheduled 1110 hours MEL - SYD, followed by TT24, the lunchtime 1315 hours from SYD back down to MEL. On all three flights so far today it has been at least 55 minutes late and has not been able to regain time through the afternoon.

Friday 13 October has TT527 (1410 hours BNE down to MEL, B738 VH-VUD) not having taken off until 1512 hours. Arrival should be at 1824, 49 minutes late.

TT641 (1505 hours Monday 16 October SYD - ADL that took off at 1559, A320 VH-XUG) should arrive in the wine state capital at about 1722, 32 minutes behind schedule.

On Thursday 19 October TT572, the 1835 hours MEL - OOL that took off at 1938 (A320 VH-VNP) should arrive at about 2029, 49 late.

On Friday 20 October, TT505 (1845 hours MEL - HBA, A320 VH-VNO) should arrive 33 minutes late at 1938.

The CNS down to BNE TT497 should arrive half an hour behind at 2240; aircraft is A320 VH-VND.

Monday 23 October 2017 has the 1435 hours OOL - MEL not having taken off until 1623. A320 VH-VNQ on this TT563 is unlikely to arrive before 1923 hours, 88 minutes late. As a result, TT264, the 1825 hours MEL - SYD will be delayed in its departure until what the Melbourne Airport website states is 1950 hours but realistically more like 2000 hours.

The 1605 hours MEL - BNE, TT532 (VH-VNH) took off at about 1830, so it is more than two hours late.

TT264 (A320 VH-VND on Tuesday 24 October, the 1930 hours in the air of the scheduled 1825 hours MEL up to SYD) should arrive at roughly 2051 this evening, 61 minutes late.

On Wednesday 25 October, TT218 (0905 hours MEL - SYD) took off at 1021 (A320 VH-VNK) and should arrive at 1126 hours, 51 late.

B738 VH-VUB on TT243 (the 1315 hours lunchtime SYD - MEL that was airborne at 1407) should pull in at approximately 1526, 36 minutes late.

TT206 (Thursday 26 October 0645 hours MEL - SYD that was airborne at 0736, A320 VH-XUH) looks to be arriving at around 0850 hours, 35 late.

Southbound TT213 (0700 ex SYD that was in the sky at 0751, A320 VH-VNB) in theory should arrive at 0918, 43 late but there is quite a lot of holding going on in the approach to MEL so the delay may become somewhat greater.

TT635 (also A320 VH-XUH), the 0845 hours SYD across to ADL took off at 0945 with arrival suggested at 1126 hours, 55 minutes late. This is an example of how the LCCs can have tight turnarounds but not manage to achieve them in Sydney (or elsewhere) and hence delays increase during the day.

Canberra ACT has had quite some rain during Thursday 26 October's late afternoon and onwards, so TT668, the 1910 hours CBR - MEL that took off at 2003 with A320 VH-VNO should arrive at roughly 2113 hours, 53 minutes tardy.
