Evan,Just wondering why there is a difference ? i must be missing something because i thought the larger longer to load/unload, older, more MX issues 767's would have been responsible for potentially worse performance.
Or is a 767 faster if it wanst to be and can make up more time especially with head winds ?

Like you, I would have thought the 767 would have been potentially more of a problem that the 737.
For what it's worth Wikipedia lists the following cruise speeds:
737 100 - 500 M.74 (485 mph)
737 600 - 800 M.785 (514 mph)
737 900 M.78 (511 mph)
767 all models M.80 (539 mph) with a max cruise of M.86 (568 mph)
