For anyone looking at insurance with TID, here are a couple of promo codes that currently work:

TIDTHANKS (this one gives the largest discount, about 6% I think)
TID5414
TIDFAF

The Frequent Flyer Concierge team takes the hard work out of finding reward seat availability. Using their expert knowledge and specialised tools, they'll help you book a great trip that maximises the value for your points.

I just used SPRING14 for 10 %

Hello

Anyone knows of the current TID code that works ?

Thanks

I always recommend trying a combination of TID and then all the old words or seasons:

TIDSPRING
TIDSUMMER etc.
Then thanks, save, friends and years 2014,2015 etc

SPRING15 worked for me last month

You're a legend !

TIDSAVE works today

TID has gradually increased in price over the past few years (even with the discount codes) to be one of the more expensive travel insurers around so I have stayed away.
Adding the ski option and reducing the excess to $0 has also increased much more than other insurers.

Be sure to shop around!

Missed the Christmas ones. I don't use TID anymore as I need real ski cover, but I was a strong advocate for them.

To any reps who see this thread- get yourself some real BC ski cover- unguided, off resort and I'll be back :)

Who do you recommend Cynicor for good skiing coverage? I haven't actually looked at the TID ski part of the PDS - is off-piste but within resort boundaries covered?

I got a 7 month TID policy for a big trip through Europe, and we plan to do some skiing in Kitzbuhel about two weeks before the end of it. Getting ski coverage on the whole thing increased the price massively as you can imagine, so I'm just going to buy a second policy for that period of time only. That;s one of the good things about TID - your trip can be one way, so I was thinking of just getting another TID policy for the last two weeks of the trip, encompassing the ski time. Otherwise I'll look at World Nomads which also can be one-way, or even a time period within a larger trip I believe.

From memory TID cover off piste in boundaries, but have a quick double check of the PDS to be sure.

I use either QBE with entertainment book discount or resold through Ouch for my cover, as they cover "skiing" with no ands, ifs or buts. They cover unguided backcountry, heli, cat etc.

Does anyone have a current discount code.
Looking to purchase some travel insurance

Thanks
