Some changes coming to TID, as well as an outage as they switch over:
Travel Insurance Direct and LloydsTID is excited to announce some changes that will allow us to better meet the needs of our travellers.
From 16 December 2011 our policies will be underwritten at Lloyd's, the world's leading insurance market and TID has also chosen Specialty Assist, a leading global emergency assistance company to provide our emergency assistance services.
At 6pm AEDT on 15 December 2011, our web site will be unavailable so we can make the necessary changes and our customer service centre will also close. Please contact us well ahead of this time if you know that you need to make any changes to your policy or extend your cover.
We anticipate services will be restored around midnight or in the early hours of 16 December.
