Late last night I received an e-mail from QATAR Airways to tell us that 2 of our 4 flights from Singapore to Barcelona and then onto Perth in Sept/Oct have been rescheduled. The time changes are only around 35 minutes so no big drama. However, this afternoon I also got a e-mail from Scoot - who we are using to get to Singapore to obtain the "special" fares originating there - telling us that our one-way flight has also been rescheduled. We had allowed for a three day rest before taking the QATAR flight so connections are not a problem.
Unfortunately the Scoot flight has been moved about 2:40 hours back which means we are now due to arrive in Singapore at about 01:35. I had paid a little bit extra to get a "free" flight change but for the flights around that date the extra fare, not change fees, are more than the night in the hotel we will mostly waste. So serves me right for trying to snare a bargain.
