You would think contractual agreements had been broken here?

So much of what Thorpe has said and done in the 13 months since he announced his comeback in front of a giant Virgin Australia sign has been contradictory that it is impossible to get a true line on his form. Like last night, when he arrived in Adelaide on a Qantas jumbo despite being sponsored by Virgin.

The fact he chose a rival airline to deliver him to his moment of truth was not some desperate ploy to avoid attention - it was simply the only flight that suited his schedule.
That Thorpe would not alter his training for a sponsor is a sure sign he is locked and loaded for something big in Adelaide.

Prepare to be amazed by the flying Thorpedo | thetelegraph.com.au

Well, I wonder if it was delivering all the swimmers to the Adelaide trials, or at least those from NSW.

Just saw his interview on Fox Sports. He looking good, he says he's not foxing - but can he do a Geoff Heugil

I'm expecting a very good 200m swim from Thorpie. Unlike the 100m, The depth in the 200m is lacking at the moment.

Plus he is looking pretty fit in the photo. He had always been relatively big build swimmer.

Also hope Libby Trickett finds her old world record breaking form in her comeback.

I bet VA is not happy that Thorpie has flown QF.

Who knows but maybe Swimming Aust is sponsored by QF for this even or something like that and they had to fly everyone.

Looks like VA know when to cut their losses, let Thorpie fly Qantas and have everyone talk about how he couldn't get the job done

Ive seen him in QF J a few times. I don't think he cares - well maybe now he will :)

Pretty poor form...

If Nike sponsors a tennis player and they get caught wearing Adidas the contract would be terminated. Seams he doesn't quite value sponsorship enough...
