My SIL and her sister are in Malta at the moment. Brother stayed home as want to golf instead. They visit Malta quite frequently. Said it had been lovely and warm and they had been swimming every day.

My SIL and her sister are in Malta at the moment. Brother stayed home as want to golf instead. They visit Malta quite frequently. Said it had been lovely and warm and they had been swimming every day.

Paris was going for a week of 35 plus. Not a pleasant place to be touring in that heat.

More Marsaxlokk ventures. My hairdresser is Maltese and suggested we had to visit here on Sunday. She was spot on. We got here early and by lunchtime it was crazy. Purchased a brilliant tapestry style carry bag and table runner as well. And a tiny bar of Rose soap for the hairdresser with an attached sandstone trinket.

Did I mention we caught up with son after 2 years at Malta airport? And DIL and her parents. Within an hour much wine and alcohol was consumed and we had a great night. And likely booked a 7 day cruise in France on Cunard in June 2027 with them. I think we are gold? Does it mean much?

A bit late with these - last week we went to the SSO at the Opera House. Stravinsky/The Firebird, plus Liadov & Shostakovich. Three Harps and a good dose of French Horn were my highlights.
