My wife’s best friend and her boyfriend are returning to UK. Was a fantastic 4 week holiday for them, 10 days of it was in NZ.

We did a lot with them and the tears were flowing last night when we dropped them to the airport for their BNE/DOH/LHR. Dameian and I did the bro-hug and watched our respective partners making a right spectacle of themselves.

We ate mostly vegan to match them and actually it was pretty good - although a lot of places don’t cater well.

We were there in August. It’s supposed to be a good spot to observe the Southern Aurora. Despite the clear skies, we timed a solar minima in between two solar maxima….
