Couple from yesterdays Boxing Day test at the G. What a day, the seven of were wrapped to be part of the 93,300 crowd watching 20 wickets fall in a day. Sensational!

Was a cool breeze up in the nose bleed section so around 2.30 we abandoned our seats and spent the afternoon in the Deck Bar at the G.

While we were sleeping off a proper sessh with our eldest son, his girlfriend and the outlaws at the G's Deck Bar, our youngest son was flying from Toronto to Edmonton on Boxing Day.

Toronto's Pearson airport, down to one runway. Sat in the aircraft for two hours due to congestion.

Mrs QF WP and I have a night at the Hyatt Regency Brisbane with our friends from the UK. Off to the Gabba to watch the Heat play tonight. Watching the Poms finally win a Test match in Australia.

Weather forecast from our son visiting the Edmonton office....
-23, feels like -32. No, just no. Meanwhile in Melbourne....while the wind was a bit fresh, much better weather at Docklands yester.

The snow gods did not smile on our long-planned family white Christmas in Utah, with record breaking mild temperatures.
2 days later however, an overnight dump saw us wake to magnificent views from our holiday office

So last night after a thrilling win for the Brisbane Heat, we got off the bus at Cultural Centre and walked over Victoria Bridge back to the Hyatt.



We took our UK friends to the Pancake Manor:



Then today an excursion along the Brisbane River on the CityCat. We walked to the Botanical Gardens, checked out the Markets, then back to Eagle Street Pier for the ride up the river:
