One thing about PNG, is the people often go to exhausting lengths setting up for special occasions and then they dismantle it all. I was surprised to get home yesterday to find my neighbours had totally demolished the SDA youth camp ... including some very well built and attractive huts that would have made nice houses!

Another few weeks and the paddock will be 7' high Kunai again! Kind of sad. I have to say, the attendees were perfectly behaved and had a great time. A real positive event for a sometimes troubled valley.
