I am guessing some sort of polyester and nylon mix!

And you are saying we need to be considerate of others when it comes to sweating and smell? How about when it comes to eating too much garlic everyday and it wreaks everywhere you go? How about chewing habits? How about iPod use? How about mobile phone use? How about drinking too much alcohol especially beer and cheap wine?

I don't think our society is very considerate when it comes to many things....

You're going off on a tangent and completely distracting from the point. So I'll play along. Basically your smell is up to you. But I'll stand by my sarcastic comment that at least one Italian migrant needed to use deodorant back in 1992, because their smell was so bad that I had great trouble doing an exam when seated in the same quarter of the room as them.

Now if you stink that bad then it is bad for other people and it is bad for you because a body that stinks like that is not healthy. As I said it is bad for everyone.

Playing with ICS on my Galaxy SII. Looks nice so far, still plenty of strange behaviour from this leaked version!

Cant resist a #SEAWL comment.:)

A few excursions in Y on Air Niugini does wonders for your considerateness. Either that or you will have gone mad. Sweating and Smell is part of the experience, the former enhanced by 40 min delays on the tarmac at POM, with a full cabin and the door still open. After many or most have had a languid, garlicky Friday lunch at their favourite Chinese. International flights are luxuries, much lower incidence of PAX in coughgrass, and I never had an int'l flight with live crabs in the overhead lockers. Or running loose around the cabin.

Cheers skip

Re Gambaro. She was obviously making a statement about either herself or one of her family.

Smelly armpits, left behinds in toilets and coughgrass are really up there in appreciating being a flyer.
Knowing all this helps you prepare for the worst and enjoy the best.

On the Big Blue Bus in Marina del Rey a hunter pulled out a head of a wild bore he had bagged (black rubbish bag for refrigeration). Ya can't get that on an Australian plane.

Not quite off-topic, but I have to post it. Got the Westin Frankfurt for 3 nights for $305au a.i. via priceline.

Very happy that is for sure! Great deal.

I need to recheck Priceline - had thought I needed a US cc.
did you get points from the Westin for the stay?

You almost could have if the guy with a buffalo head had been allowed to check in his catch at DRW which was only contained in a garbage & it stunk to high heaven.

He ended up having to consign it via AAE & it had to be treated as 'human remains'.

One of those 'only in the Territory moments'. :p

I don't think you get points.

There is a work around for priceline CC issue. Just put your full address in the first two lines, and a US city and state and put the zip code 99999.

Worked no problems.

Westin site wanted $270/night and expedia $180/night.

Ah, the old el Segundo technique! I need to stop being a wimp & try it sometime.:p

Nice find, I've always wanted to get on to the Priceline bandwagon but a bit paranoid that I'll end up with a coughpy hotel!

Well considering the alternative was the new-ish Frankfurt HIX at $110AU per night, I was happy to take the risk.

I think Frankfurt is slightly unique. The city is split in to 3 sectors by Priceline. The East part (East of the HBF, main city) only has three 5* rated properties - Westin, Hilton, Fleming's Frankfurt, all 3 of which are fine. The IC Frankfurt is apparently rated 4* by priceline.

So, worst case I get nothing at all, but having looked at the Priceline and Hotwire Forum forums, I was pretty certain I would be receiving the Westin, if anything.

Mal, you almost had me sold on the new Asus but being a Thinkpad man and having just seen the T430u unveiled at CES is making me rethink :D

About half of Australia's fortnightly paid employees will get 27 fortnights pays this year that finishes on June 30th,2012. That would apply if you were paid on the first Friday in July,2011.
This only happens about once a decade. See the Tax Office will think you are rich!!
