The weakness of hesitation.

NZ had C-saver Trans-Tasman fares for just over NZD 600 during middle of December. They were still there about two days ago.

Now they're all gone. Gotta hate hesitating. :( :( NZ TT C back to NZD 1000+. ...
The sale WAS due to finish on the 25th ... and those prices were one way.

Not all is lost - there's another sale (with less available dates) - look here:

Today's Blackboard Deals - Flights - Cheap Flights, Airfares & Holidays - Air New Zealand Official Site - NZ

TT fares are rarely printed as a return, nor sold with that incentive. In any case, that was pretty good value, especially if you credit the mileage to the right carrier's FFP.

Cold comfort, unfortunately.

Can only hope they'll put on another sale for those dates. Chances of that happening though? I probably have a better chance doing <insert outrageous thing here>.

I'll admit being too used to QF's sale page. They have a big red/orange tag usually saying something like "2 days left" (for a sale) or "Last day today!". NZ's Blackboard sale page is a lot more bland.

I'm very glad I didn't know about them, frankly

Very happy with Snow Leopard running on my MacBook now. The little changes are great. Still exploring.

Had a bit of a issue at the Apple store though, my HSBC card wouldn't go through, and then the machines locked up and my Amex wouldn't either. It was $39 though so I just got some cash out and paid in cash ultimately, but strange that nothing worked.

Must be based on an apple hardware / operating system ;)

Are there reports of exploding EFTPOS devices around the world too? That would confirm it.

Mobil (gas stations) also wont take my HSBC cards. It's odd, must be to do with who provides the EFTPOS devices not liking HSBC.
