Yet Tennis Australia probably provided hundreds of thousands of dollars for her training, flights and accommodation. One could say they were negligent in their duty of care for a minor.
They weren’t negligent.

A very big cubicle if you can get four people on there.

Que? Two cubicles.

Maybe not "peeing" as you put it but refreshing nostrils?
Mmm. Not much bench space in there.

So what happens with their pension perks? All an untested grey area.

Well as they were ineligible, essentially they weren't there?

I believe all the booted politicians have lost all pension perks.

I've been out of action lately have haven't been following the issue closely, but as there appears to be no problem with legislation etc passed including 'ineligible' members' votes (the reason, I think was that they didn't become non-members until the high court said they were), then I think pensions etc should be allowable.

Iran/Iraq earthquake:

QuakeI.JPG

After pontificating how JohnM and I were transiting a plate boundary (Arabian and Eurasian Plates) while touring Iran, and hearing how earthquakes have damaged many monuments in Iran, we missed this one by a whisker! 9:48 pm in Iran; JohnM and I left at 11 and 11:30 am.

it struck an hour after I flew out of Doha ...

If life was just that would be the case but the other snouts-in-the-trough will generously decide to give them our money. See there are likely over 50 retired politicians of all parties who also are ineligible. Real 44 Gallon 'can of worms".

Roo, super happy to hear you and John are OK! That was not the plan for my GoFundMe for you! Its sad to know what has been lost and people have suffered.

Anyone else a Neil Diamond tragic? I am. Memories of Hot August Night. Tickets purchased just now through presale.

Saw him last year in Sydney! I laughed, I cried, I waved my glow stick around, it was AWESOME!

Although the walk to the stadium looked like the filming of the walking dead but with O2 bottles and frames - just waiting for someone to be the first to die.

But the concert, hes a wordsmith. A really great concert.

Dunno about tragic, but I do think Hot August Night is one of the great benchmarks of live performance. Even 44 years on it stands up superbly. Although I've never embraced the entire ND back catalogue.

Yeah. Saw some crowd pictures of the Manchester concert this year. Almost see Zimmer frames in the background.

Saw a concert of his a few years ago and it had very few of his gold standouts. Quite disappointing. But this one promises to be one of his trademark concerts.

It was a lucky escape for you and JohnM then. Perhaps buy a lottery ticket :)
It is sad that so many lives were lost and homes destroyed.

Decisions made by such as Barnaby etc, over 100 will be challenged by Labor.

Let’s waste more time and resources then. That’s the ticket.
Think that Labor will take good legal advice and decide this is not going to happen. Not sure what any independents or affected community/business groups would do.

On a different topic - I do so want to see you on your zimmer frame bopping along to ND.:D

If that's the case, I assume Labor doesn't think it will win the next election and then simply legislate to overturn anything they didn't like.

I wonder how many Parliaments challenges might go back? Who knows, everything the Whitless Goof did might yet be undone. Al Grasby I reckon is a shoo-out.

My problem is, when on holidays, Im usually the driver as Im a very nervous passenger (due to witnessing multiple fatalities 20yrs ago).

If I book the Jag, the husband will want to drive and that ramps my anxiety and he will have to put me in the boot... which hes been threatening for years.

So, its happy husband with a Jag and me in the boot, or calm wife in a Fiat. :p (I joke about the Fiat but it would be a medium car).

My problem with something as big as a Jag is that back roads in the UK are narrow. My trip a few weeks ago spelled this out to me again, no problems, but backing up in even a smallish Citroen C3 is a pain. Besides, people in the UK drive way too fast on their narrow roads, they may know the road backwards, but I, as a tourist, don't.

Conversely this is why the military prefers under formed brains, as these brains are easier to break and thus easier to go into dangerous situations.
Irrespective the multi million dollar toys they gave us were a lot of fun and gave us some tremendous abilities to help the community.

Also many of those with 'broken brains' have gone onto to do some great things.
