Actually, in amongst the rubbish are these "the Smart Garment Folder". We've got quite a few of these. Makes packing the suitcases and unpacking in hotels a doddle. Highly recommended! (From Peter's of Kensington.)

Additionally the Aesop kit (or similar) is a must for long haul flights for anyone who wants their skin to NOT feel like a paper bag at the other end :)

Not sure why anyone needs a Prada passport holder, but hey, each to their own.

In defense of the article, it is titled "Executive Style".

I guess my reaction to the article was, aren't executives who travel regularly more worried about function than fashion? Also I'm not sure how a USB charger can be considered a luxury gadget.

Actually knowing the person quoted in the article quite well I beg to differ

I'm genuinely happy to hear that :) But based only on the article I doubt that I and he would ever cross paths to get better acquainted, at least in the shops. I could never think of a duffel bag as my current favourite thing; buying ' designer' or 'brand' for anything is anathema to me ( you probably knew that already :))

When 'dag' is in fashion, you'll see me on the covers!

All good. IIRC you may well have met already at Retro Roo, even if only in passing ;)

My good mate gave me a red patent leather Tiffany passport cover for my 50th. Looks swish and gorgeous. And it's a total P in the A to use as you have to keep pulling it in and out of the cover every time you have to present it. It looks cute in the folder in the study and that's it. I'm surprised that wasn't on the wanky list

Yes, I have several of the Eagle Creek "pack-it" garment folders. First thing to go into my suitcase. Love it.

Don't know him quite as well as you, but agree that some of the comments here are off the mark.

I wasn't sure if it was intended tongue-in-cheek or not? :p

A little warm in Sydney today - happily, if not proudly, drinking a Semillon with a big fat block of ice in it :)

Hey, nothing wrong with some ice blocks in your white wine - we do that all the time here on the Sunny Coast

Believe it or not, we have a drizzle!

Was in Bern last night and the pundits reckon it might snow there by the end of the month. That's not saying it'll happen much, but what the...

The first winter I spent in London it snowed right at the end of November. Was a nice welcome to London and winter for me and made for a lot of excitement on ones behalf :D

Every trip I forget to take with me 2-3 things. Vary it around just to keep it interesting and keep the wife guessing.

Looks like the shredded cardboard-like stuff that Aust Post pads their padded post bags with.

There was certainly a lot of grey dust when I opened the package. Didn't help that I opened it in my car.
