Not sure, not my problem ;)

If the case (public nuisance) was dismissed, how does that effect the answer to any relevant question?

I believe ESTA has a question asking if one has ever been arrested, or ever been charged with a misdemeanour. Can't quite remember the question wording, but from the ESTA threads on AFF I do hear that declaring these (which, by literal rules, would be required even if it never lead to a conviction) can result in failure of the VWP and thus the need to apply for a visa.

Birthday week flying experiences. QF a warm and sincere happy birthday greeting, which was really appreciated. VA provides an OP-up.

ESTA questions have changed - no longer is there reference to simply having "been arrested" other than "for a crime that resulted in serious damage to property, or serious harm to another person or government authority?"

With oil at $50US how can the price of unleaded be where it is? Not enough Costco fuel outlets in Australia?

It may be Harrison Ford who has crash landed at a Venice California golf course in a PT22 Orion vintage plane. I hope he is ok.
The plane has come down within sight of the Santa Monica Airport.

Three guys walk into a lift.

One of them asks "Are we getting off at Ground Lower or Ground?"

For those who may want to watch some aerobatics in a CT4 have a look here. Not professional shots as the pilot was testing out his helmet cam.

CT4 aerobatics.

Brings back a few memories for me and probably also for jb747.

There was a CT4 doing some flying out of Albury this afternoon. Must find out if it's a local. 061.

If I'm reading the registration in the video correctly, then that aircraft is 046. Typical CT4....losing energy the whole time.

Hindsight is great.

You know some ideas sound great during planning but poor when executed.

Hi jb747,

I just googled and 046 is actually owned by the guy who did the video.

VH-MCT which is an ex-RAAF CT4A serial number A19-046 which is somewhat unique for a CT4 as it never spent any time at 1FTS. A19-046 spent its entire Air Force life at the Aircraft Research and Development Unit being used in a variety of development and test activities before being sold at auction in 1993.

Having a spare 30 minutes we stopped at Ross Dress For Less in Costa Mesa California. The place had very good brand polo tops at $11.99 plus tax in amongst a bit of jumble. The queue to pay and exit was long and the language being used was anything but English. It is still a quality bargain place so if you are finding the US quite a bit more expensive than a year or two ago you might like this place. It is a clothing chain with multiple locations.

I can second this, I loved Ross when I was in the states. Great for business shirts too. Leather belts that are $80 at David Jones might be $10-20

On TV the drug companies are allowed to advertise in the US. The shingles vaccine advert is a corker where it shows an outbreak on a persons back and says one third of adults will get shingles and the outbreak usually lasts a month. After seeing the advert I was happy to have had the shingles vaccination.
