Never thought of scam clicks. Agree with your thoughts. What a powerful scam that would be if so.
Friend of ours' son used to get cheques once a month from the US for this activity.:) They were wondered why he was getting cheques regularly.
 
Whenever I see a competitors adword I always click on it. Petty I know.
I thought I was the only one to do that. It’s very bad. I don’t do it anymore. Well, I do it to big companies I don’t like.

I have been working with legacy systems with structured programming and relational databases all my career.
The mouse was concieved by Douglas Engelbart around 1968. You must have used one in the interviening years I would have thought? How could you not know that clicking on an advertisement on a web page generated revenue for ad brokers such as Google? It’s one of the ways AFF receives revenue from the content.
 
Denali is an ice cream brand at our Californian supermarket.
It’s also a mountain in Alaska!

But more apt I suggest is this quote

“Barack Obama to give Mount McKinley back its Native American name. Highest peak in North America to be renamed Denali, an Athabascan word meaning 'the high one'.”
 
My first OS trip was to Alaska/Denali national Park via the Yukon road trip 20+yrs ago. Hope to take hubby there one day.

Yep. Monumental Trip to Alaska was canceled due to health 2 years ago but have one planned for next year.
