How come we get Arnie? What is Julie up to next week that makes her unavailable for the top job?

I’ve tried android phones and have an android tablet.
I have never owned Apple products. Don't really know why but it has continued over the years. Was Apple a force in phones before the iPhone?

I've had Motorola, Nokia and now Samsung over the years.

Their 2nd amendment unfortunately stands in the way. They could have a referendum to change that but the way politics is in the USA, I can’t see it happening anytime soon. I think needs 2/3 majority in both houses.

2/3rd majority in both houses and then 3/4ths of all states (38) must agree to pass a constitutional amendment. There are at least 13 states that would never accept a modification of the Second Amendment. So, trying to at this point in time is fruitless.

You have a better chance of seeing Qantas merge with Virgin Australia, Air New Zealand, and Air Koryo and the combined company installing me as the CEO. By next Tuesday. With all operator's certificates combined by then as well.

No Apple phones really prior to the iPhone.

Looking to place a Tesco click & collect order for Edinburgh, as its in my DNA to squirrel when I get to a new location (water, crackers, chips, mouthwash ect) and saw this.

I think I should get these just for the novelty factor and bring them home. In fact, there are a lot of WTF items at the grocery store in the UK. They are quite exotic with their flavours.

If you end up staying at the Hilton Edinburgh Carlton, there's a Tesco Express a short walk from the hotel.

Those chips are quite tasty :)

I traveled lax to syd with Julia, was surprised to see her in VA J. She worked in the lounge, on the plane for a few hours and was in front of cameras with China hours after landing.

I was impressed with her work ethic in those few hours. She looks quite fit as well.

She is very fit and runs daily from what I have read. It looks like she does some weights work as well. I agree she keeps up a high work output even when travelling.

Referring to Julie Bishop

Julie or Julia?

Opps. Julie, Minister of Foreign Affairs. She had 2 people travelling with her, all three even heads down reading/talking or on the phones hustling.

They often show Julie Bishop training. She’s my vintage. I have no idea how she does it. Comes from a peer group of similarly high powered women. Carolyn Hewson is another. 1956 was an excellent vintage in Adelaide. ;) I wonder how the Grange was that year?

No but I had one the first release day in Oz. I was a fan way back then. I love my iPad though. My phone - since the last operating upgrade it’s a piece of junk. But not sure I want to leap to android.

I’ve had Nokia and Motorola flip (that got flogged off me in HCM) and which I loved.

No doubt plotting her next move as loyal deputy. Such generosity to interrupt her schedule to come home and act as PM. No thanks, said Malcolm!

Re the demise of Avon. With 22,000 people losing their job it’s now regarded as one of Australia’s largest corporate loss. On their Facebook many consultants weren’t advised and Avon were advertising for consultants in Australia as recently as 10 days ago. I’m not sure if that means people have handed over money to move into Avon but if so it’s a nasty corporate act.
