Living in Brisbane is a nightmare. Sydney is a cinch.

I have not seen any place anywhere in the world that even comes to close to Sydney.

Personally I wish you people that hate Sydney with a passion would be more vocal about it and see if you can recruit some of the pretenders living in Sydney to move out.

Sydney, it appears has a certain amount of pretentious amongst its dwellers of nowadays. Sadly so.
It always, seems to be to the ritual question.. After being looked at up & down ... :D
So where do you live in Sydney & what School/University did you go to?
Dapto.. was often the requited reply..
I feel sorry for some.. & their evident inferior values.

Sydney is the most overrated so called "major city" on the planet! Other then a bridge and a half finished Opera house, I am still confused what Sydney really has that offers the world anything substantial?

The best harbour in the world.

Don't forget the DLR driverless trains in London.

My funniest experience so far was the driverless trains in SIN....... a train obsessed young adult sat at the front and did all the notifications word for word, including the beep beep beep beep as the doors closed.... few screws loose there, I'd say.

At least your laptop HDD can be pulled out and recovered. My phone, wallet and wedding ring that was stolen cannot just be pulled out and looked at elsewhere.

That is not known yet. The laptop I am using now had issues a couple of years ago and the HDD could not be recovered. I lost photos from 2 SD cards from the trip I took with dad in 2009 and other personal documents.

My phone, wallet and wedding ring that was stolen cannot just be pulled out and looked at elsewhere.
These things happen to all of us. 30 December 2012 was one of the lowest points of my life and I was in a foreign country.

Pffffft most of you people in the western suburbs don't even know what it looks like!

Most of Australia's real industries are located outside of SYD. During WW2, Australia and the USA, concluded that if Australia was invaded, Melbourne was the fall back point to fight a guerrilla war yet they were happy to let Sydney fall!

I ain't no Westie or waxhead but I know exactly what the harbour looks like. Botany Bay is quite nice as well.

And then we can move along to Middle Harbour, Spit, Kuringai Chase, Hawkesbury, Georges River, Parramatta River, Nepean River, Royal National Park etc.

Wow I didn't realise the actress playin her was that old. I wonder if they will replace her character?

From what I read a Major character will die this season.

One of the head hounchos said that her character/s will be retired & farewelled but it's not her character that was going to die this season.

Overpriced housing, urban sprawl & inferior infrastructure..

I wonder who will replace her?

Plus I wonder which Simpsons character will go?

In a strange turn of events.... my wedding ring has just been returned. Phone/wallet appear to be gone for good, though.

I don't think they'll replace her. They'll weave their magic for a tribute & that will be it.

Have you see TV's Troy McClure who you might remember from such TV ads like "Think Yourself Straight, Stupid!" lately?

Eeeepppp! I have just worked out that I have worked roughly the same amount of hours in this week that I normally do in a fortnight!

The ring would be irreplaceable so it's at least good to have that back.
What happened?

More money for flying.

Because of the circumstances & my award, I'm getting paid as if I was at my primary place of employment. This doesn't happen to many of my colleagues, though.

So effectively, I'm on my primary employer's clock for 8 hours & my secondary employment (volunteering) for 4 hours to make up the 12 hr shift.

That doesn't include when I've come in early and/or left late.

It was actually the Brisbane line-
