... I wonder if serfty has a spare ticket he might not need? ...
Nup! Not this year - see this post from late July:
Wow, have ticket prices jumped or what!!?!?! The same seat type/area I purchased last year for $65 is now $165!!! Level 6 seats for $80!
i'm planning on attending both as I did last year ... 50% result :-|
Scratch that - the NRL GF starts 2 hours later this year at 7:15pm - last year I flew up and back on the day - no chance this year ... :-|

Still will be going to the AFL GF though ...

For all you tech heads out there, MSY Computers are selling an 8Gb Kingston MicroSD for a mere $6. It's only a Class 4 but good enough for many devices.
Picked one up this morning.

First prize in a competition at BWS is meeting Darren Lockyer. Is second prize meeting him twice?

I wonder if you can elect to meet the cardboard cutout instead?

That is not good at all. It is almost like daylight robbery.

Although if I was silly enough to fly back from Chiang Mai-Bangkok the grand final ticket price would be the least of my worries.

Got myself a Canon EOS-M twin lens kit today. Will be Interesting to see how I go using it compared to the trusty DSLR.

Certainly can't make my photography any worse....

For those who don't have Monday as a public holiday just remember "the first 5 days after the weekend are the hardest".
It is the Queen's birthday holiday in Perth tomorrow.

I shall find the right thread but it would appear MH no longer serves alcohol on the SIN-KUL leg. They did in July but not today.

I always thought that was one of MH's "short" flights, which means very basic galley service (albeit it is a "service"). Many MH domestic flights I thought also fit that mould.

In Y I thought this always meant some peanuts and a juice or water (e.g. orange, guava or water). Not sure about J; I think it is usually some sort of hot snack (e.g. panko fried prawn, perhaps a mini satay stick). Not sure if they would have a bar on for such a short flight. But anyway, there you go...

In business I have had a Carlsberg on my first 3 trips on this sector.

The refreshment is usually some sort of dry curry quiche/pie which is awful so usually pass.

You going to change your avatar back now?

I might just keep it to annoy a certain West Coast supporter for a bit longer.:p

Oh and yeah why can't these holidays line up, WA tomorrow and Qld the following Monday.
