So where are you when it comes to Covid 19? The Tony Hancock Covid-19 quiz asks seven critical questions which will help you work out where you sit on the most challenging world event since the last one. It would have been 10 questions but I just couldn't be bothered.

Please answer all questions truthfully or just lie if you like. If an answer does not match exactly your own response just make something up that matches near enough. :p

When you have completed the quiz count up the number of a, b, or c answers

Please, please, please, please don’t bother commenting about questions that should or shouldn’t be there or how the scoring should have been done etc. Just make your own quiz up instead!! :p

Warning: Do not proceed with this quiz if you have humourless tendencies, have no appreciation for Galton & Simpson, Croft & Perry or Ian Le Frenais & Dick Clement, do not appreciate pathetic attempts at schoolboy humour, are offended by long words, dislike Monty Python, the Crazy Gang, Arthur Askey, and Sid Field, possess no self awareness, take yourself and your hobbies even a teensy weensy bit seriously, believe this will be a serious study, have feelings of self loathing, loathe Tony Hancock , believe sarcasm is the lowest form of wit, enjoy reality TV, have a chip on your shoulder the size of a redwood tree, mix coca cola with single malt whisky, are politically correct or enjoy trolling. :p Please just assume there is a sticky out tongue at the end of each line.

1. Covid-19, whilst probably the biggest challenge of the 21st Century so far, is also:

a) The biggest challenge the world has faced, like, ever, bigger than the black death, Great War, Seven Year’s War, Spanish Flu, and the impact of the repeal of the Corn Laws, all put together.
b) Something we will get through if we all get vaccinated
c) Is not real and even if it was, can be defeated by creating a helmet from Bacofoil

2. My strategy for coping with Covid-19 is:

a) Close the borders – all of them, every single one, in fact create new borders to close – lock everyone in their homes and execute anyone leaving them, close the hospitals to all but those suffering from Covid-19 and tell the police if your neighbours so much as twitch their bedroom curtains.
b) Vaccinate, vaccinate, vaccinate – it is the only way out of this mess
c) There is no Covid-19 it is a Government conspiracy to control our lives

3. You are 38 years old and have the opportunity to get the AstraZeneca vaccine immediately, you:

a) Research extensively online and then follow the advice from a state Health Officer that only one armed 62 year olds with a predisposition to listening to progressive rock should receive this vaccine because there is a one in a billion chance of turning into Klaus Wunderlich
b) Plead with your GP to get the vaccination explaining that you believe there is more risk from Covid-19 than from the AstraZeneca vaccination
c) Refuse, you do not want the Government injecting you with a microchip and then tracking your bowel movements

4. A zero covid approach means:

a) Ensuring Covid-19 is kept out of Australia forever by, quite rightly, not letting anyone in or out and shutting Australia off from the outside world indefinitely.
b) Closing the borders, keeping Covid-19 out, whilst simultaneously double vaccinating the adult population.
c) The perfect opportunity to pull out your copies of Protect & Survive Monthly and stockpile tins of baked beans, but not the ones with small sausages in…….you aren’t clinically insane.

5. Jacinda Ardern is:

a) The legendary, gifted, wonderful, saintly, amazing, always right, Prime Minister of New Zealand
b) Annoying
c) Who is Jacinda Ardern?

6. Australia approaches 80% double vaccination and 92% of adults have Covid-19 antibodies it is time to:

a) Lockdown for another year but this time really mean it – separate families and enforce the lockdown with the army
b) Open up all borders and if necessary, have “passports” for the vaccinated
c) Reinforce your house walls, arm yourself, and prepare for an assault by the vaccine zombies controlled by the government

7. The time approaches where the choices are living with the virus or continuing a zero tolerance approach, what do you choose?

a) Zero tolerance all the way, so what if we have 20,000 deaths a year from treatable ailments…that aren’t being treated, at least we have, like, zero tolerance and that is important
b) We need to learn to live with the virus, there will be some fatalities but at least we are not prisoners in our own homes and country.
c) I knew this was coming it is time to dust off my Ned Kelly armour and stock up at my local store.

So how did you do? If you answered:-

Mostly a: It is likely you might be a millennial and the advice is to learn to read books and don’t gather all of your information from Tik-Tok videos. It is a hard world out there and sometimes we have to accept that we can’t save everyone in the world. Oh and your plan to prevent the disease of “old-age” is unlikely to work so don’t start lockdowns over that.

Mostly b: You seem like a reasonably sensible well-rounded individual, conscious that risk always exists it is managing that risk to an acceptable level that matters. You have probably already had you vaccination or are pressuring for it and want to get back to some sort of normality

Mostly c: Get yourself down to your local Coles, or Woolworth and stock up on tinfoil and toilet paper, you are also going to need a doomsday bunker, several thousand tins of baked beans and an extractor fan.

Answer to question 5 is most definitely b)

I am sorry to have ruffled Tony's feathers with my dark prognostication yesterday.. but the quiz here demonstrates the resilience and sheer brilliance of the human spirit in the face of xx_xx odds….

I really should not wander as much as I do....
All of the questions should have had a "None of the above"
:)
I will attempt to remember to come back in a week or so
consider offering the real options..... Since most people only believe the science as offered by large multinational companies.....

I have had two AZ shots.... which apparently is not enough.

Wandering

Jeez, I must be boring. I answered all b
