I am hoping the construction at LAX is the new QF lounge.
 
Got the call this arvo. :) Asked for the 7pm flight Wed night - though I called back and left a message to say I won't need the hotel accommodation. Will head home - got a bit to do anyway.

I'm up for a drink after the lunch/before the flight back to MEL though (either in the J lounge or CBD). Looking forward to meeting a few members (no doubt see some of you on the 7pm MEL-SYD Wed night :)).

On another thread it was mentioned that Optus take the reins shortly !

Nope, the flight won't be showing in our bookings because it's been done as a group booking with no QFF numbers attached. Looks like we're in the exit row chaps!

Out of MEL at 1900 tomorrow, back at 1800. Transfers to/from the hotel are included.

Looks like we're on the same flights then. I'll be in the J lounge from around 6pm with any luck if you want to catch up for a pre-boarding beer drop me a PM and i'll shoot you my mobile number.

Any of the other MEL contingency on the same flights (I'm assuming it's all the same)?

I'm guessing we're all staying at the same hotel down in the rocks as well?

There's four of us on the booking so I'm guessing so!

Edit: Not looking forward to the trip home.. apparently it's going to take 24h35m!

Hey at least we have exit rows (although i need to find someone to swap with; they put me in a window seat, I really do not like window seats, will swap for aisle ;))
