GAWWWWWDD. Embarrassment ++

Disappointed there weren't as many shots of our new best friend Trevor though - he's clearly wishing to remain a mystery!

Love the video. You're all stars :)

(and addicted to wine, addicted to playing with mobiles, addicted to taking photos - and addicted to getting in front of the camera and letting the words slip out :D )

Hmmm ... very selective methunks ... weren't there 16 invitees?

Like any good news report :-| :) of course it will be fairly selective.

Also not sure if the threat of publicising their thoughts out to the webs and beyond may have scared our Gang of 16 to be more.... diplomatic or withholding of opinion. Certainly I would hope - and suspect not - that they were "preloaded" with a statement or opinion to be made just for the cameras.

The questions I felt that perhaps a full analysis was withheld (i.e. only the "good bits" were talked about) were:
  • What did you learn about QFF?
  • Thoughts on the QFF program

As for the member that got to go with a flight record of ~4000 SCs - you really do deserve something extra special! (Including possibly a free posterior and posture assessment.... :p )

I kind of feel glad it wasn't me selected to go:!: :) I suspect if I were there and the video went out (although it may not go viral) I'd be busted for a few things.... incognito is more my style....

Anybody that watched that video without knowing what AFF is would be mistaken for thinking we are a bunch of people that drink red wine and text on our iPhones.

Yep, that's us:!: :D

P.S. I do not have an iPhone ;)

I'm going to be blunt here...I assume that a lot of the video was heavily edited to show QF and P1 in a very +ve light. I'm sure the AFF16 are not that universally loving of P1 and the QFF program:shock:

Phewww, think I got off lightly, apart from the red nails shot with Astrokid ;)
My impressions are its a very highly edited advertorial for QF.
I did not expect anything else.
The camera loves you Trippin ;)

Not knowing who was Red Roo, looking at other obvious Staff, & knowing trippin & awilsockson, & recognising Winchester's brows ( :p ), it sure reads like a very pro advert of QF. Gotta say I did enjoy it all, even knowing how heavily edited it was. I found myself wondering who all the others are...

Yes, the camera loved a couple of you, even without makeup. At this stage just very happy that I wasn't in the chosen group. (even though I was originally pouting) Though the camera man may have been kind ...

The steak with modern bearnaise looked good, as did the creme caramel, and the pav. I hear it compares to the F lounge pav. Have my doubts.

I think we may just have to have another lunch / dinner there so that more of us can taste the food & wines. just so we know.

He was the only sober one ;)
ahem! I'm pretty sure I was drinking water - unless someone slipped something into my glass.

Just to clear up something around the video: Each of those who chose to participate were asked for their responses to four pre-prepared questions - which is pretty standard for any video of this nature.

The questions are designed to solicit the kinds of responses they think will be of value. And by shooting these kind of vox pops with multiple people, they can choose the responses that best line up with their goal.

I'm sure you would have picked up from the post-game discussion in this thread, QFF by no means got off lightly. There were some very difficult questions asked, especially around subjects like ATA, which drove additional discussion which they may not have been comfortable with.

And that wasn't a steak storyteller, it was a 4hr slow roasted sirloin. You need to to play a round of Know your cuts of meat with David Letterman ;)

I think that there are probably three versions of the video:

- This one that QFF can use to promote the program
- The other one that they will show to staff to show the problems with the program
- The Staff Christmas Party video where they can show off what rubbish a drunken bunch of FFers can spout after a glass (or maybe two) of Shiraz

During the lunch there were a range of opinions expressed - both pro and anti QF. None of us were backwards about coming forwards and I think QF and QFF took a lot of useful info away from the event. You are always going to get a warm fuzzy feeling towards people that have bought you lunch, facilitated meeting people you haven't met before and been open and candid with you.

Well it was good to see a couple more members on video, plus the ones I already know. Some eloquent speakers after a skinful of red
