I wouldn’t be surprised if the flights in and out of Mackay are the same aircraft.Very tight connection up there tho, hope it all works out that you will pull this off.

Any good price runs you can recommend? The current Australia Red Tail Sale is offering some of the cheapest fares I've seen in a while. Many routes are similar to or cheaper than the status runs to NZ.

Does anyone know how that would work with DSC runs? Would you get the 75% refund and then double the original J status credits? If that doesn't suit you, and you choose to fly in whY you should be eligible for a refund of 75% of the ticket price and the original routing status credits.
Yes. We received DSCs at PE rates after a downgrade from PE to whY.Does anyone know how that would work with DSC runs? Would you get the 75% refund and then double the original J status credits?
Have you already attained Green Tier? If not and you're close, that can earn you 50SC. If you're nowhere near that, then probably a one-way Business ticket from SYD to OOL/BNE/MEL (which will net you 40SC). If you can exploit a Double Status Credit booking, then a return Economy SYD to OOL/MEL/BNE (or similar) would net you 40SC.Hi SC guru,
I need to earn 40 SC by 31st May, to retain Gold, what is my cheapest option? Im Syd base
Saw Syd to OOL $169 for 10 SC.. .
Cheapest Business fare out of Sydney in May on Qantas (which will get you the 40SC you need) is to Coffs Harbour for ~$413:Hi SC guru,

Not mistaken, although I can't really reconcile with the idea that the points are worth $0. But of course, YMMV and it might be the best use of your points.Melbourne to Brisbane return in Business - one way paid, the other way points - works out at $3.96 per SC if booked during this DSC promo window. Struggling to find better earn rate for domestic routes out of Melbourne.
$698 + 29,000 points business return for 176 SC. I believe 120 SC for the paid flight and 56 as a PC member for the classic reward flight. Please correct me if I'm mistaken.
