and to get to NTL, fly xyz-BNE-NTL-BNE-xyz….😉

Now, which “xyz” is the cheapest?
What would you say the worst east coast routes for value for SC? I gathe routes like SYD-CBR AND CBR-MEL aren’t great value

Sri Lankan Airlines has some very attractive I class fares ex-KUL at the moment. exSIN fares are very much higher.
Round trip to CMB(80 QF SC each way) is less than AU$5/SC. Southern India cities can be added (40 SC each way) without raising the per SC cost much.
Open jaw returns may also work (SIN/BKK).
It took a while for the e-ticket number to appear in the PNR (under receipts)

Hope that improves someone's wandering

Planning ahead for next DSC. If we were to book paid AUS-AKL-DUD (or another NZ airport QF doesnt fly to), I realise we will only get DSCs on the QF legs into AKL but do we earn any regular SCs on the Air NZ operated legs?

I notice that even though JQ NZ flies to DUD QF always seem to offer an Air NZ flight with QF flight number rather a JQ one.

If the flight has a QF#, you should still earn SCs. If it’s an earning fare on JQ, same. Just no DSCs (usually).

Thanks. Assuming due to QF flight # i can use QF AKL lounge; and in DUD the Air NZ lounge since it would be a J seat on NZ metal?
