What would you say the worst east coast routes for value for SC? I gathe routes like SYD-CBR AND CBR-MEL aren’t great valueand to get to NTL, fly xyz-BNE-NTL-BNE-xyz….

If the flight has a QF#, you should still earn SCs. If it’s an earning fare on JQ, same. Just no DSCs (usually).Planning ahead for next DSC. If we were to book paid AUS-AKL-DUD (or another NZ airport QF doesnt fly to), I realise we will only get DSCs on the QF legs into AKL but do we earn any regular SCs on the Air NZ operated legs?
I notice that even though JQ NZ flies to DUD QF always seem to offer an Air NZ flight with QF flight number rather a JQ one.
