Is there any reliable way to calculate OW points award rate?

I've re-qualified for Gold status with that status now running through end of November 2026. One question I have, however, concerns securing status for the next program year. Specifically, there is a requirement where 4 flights. Specifically the Qantas website states:

A minimum of four eligible flights must be taken with Qantas (QF) or Jetstar (JQ, GK) flight numbers on your ticket that earn Status Credits

Am I correct in thinking that if I were to take an Emirates flight or a British Airways flight which has a QF flight number on the ticket (and which earns status credits) that should be fine, or do I literally need to be seated on a Qantas operated flight? One other question if I may, how does Qantas flights between Europe and Australia work for the purposes of ticking the 4 flight requirement? For instance, suppose I were to fly from London to Sydney (via S'pore) on QF2, would that count as one tick since it's just one flight number or two ticks (since there's a connection in S'pore)?

If you can book a QF codeshare, it’ll count.

That’s a big IF trying to get something ex FRA or thereabouts that’s not getting all the way to Oz. QF1/2 to SIN ought to be in play.

As an aside, what benefits would I get as a QF Gold flying Emirates? Would I get complimentary seat assignment? What about lounges? I’m guessing the Emirates lounges are in play thanks to the stitch up Qantas and Emirates have?

I don't believe GK operates SIN-NRT - that was a 3K route. Qantas codeshares on JL SIN-HND so that may be the best option if your fare allows.

Day 2: BNE-AKL-BNE
Day 3: BNE-MEL-OOL
Total Cost: $ 2,585.29
DSC Total: 820
$3.15/SC

It would've been at that price - it's two nested tickets, OOL-BNE and BNE-AKL return in Business.

I need help to get 200sc - I have registered for double status credit with recent promotion - what's the best Status run to get 200sc - I m based in Melbourne

Long time lurker- first time poster
I’m based in Canberra and realised I’m about 350 SC short of making platinum for the first time in a while. I have a bit of travel anticipated next year so figure it may be worth pushing for it to take advantage of first lounge access etc.
Everything I can find though from Canberra works out a little expensive (>$6 per sc).
Anyone any ideas for cheaper options or is this about as good as I’ll find?

If you have the time, maybe look at points or pay to get to SYD or MEL and take a trip from there on a better fare. It’ll be seperate tickets so allow a decent buffer or o/n to be safe.

MEL seems to offer better options because some trips hub thru SYD or BNE/OOL etc.
