Flighty is behaving itself (for a change) - even to the point where it is suggesting a reasonable arrival time! What is Flighty saying?

Yeah… it’s rare that I *don’t* get that message for SYD-MEL. Perhaps it’s their way of gifting ‘flow forward’ without actually making it official? Even competing/matching with VA.All good in this particular instance @AustraliaPoochie - we’re on schedule without hint of cancellation. Had been tracking it since noticing the message in the app, but looking safe as it can be.
Yes, T-80 is still a thing but not a free for all. Things can also change counting down to T-24. When OLCI opens, what’s available might show up for lower status PAX.Was looking to find a thread dedicated to T-80, however the search term appears to be too short for the website to accept and search. The only thread I was able to find was the thread mainly discussing selecting Row 4 on the 737s.
Is T-80 now even a thing for international flights / non-737 flights anymore?
My flight is now within 80hrs (A330-300, in business) and I was attempting to select another seat in business (looking to get row 1), but was unable to, as the below appears:

I suspect maybe its unavailable as I'm a lowly Bronze member (it's still only available / open for CL/P1 members at this stage)?

It takes a while for the JQ website to sync and reflect the baggage allowance. I think it was the next day for my award.Noob clarification please.
Booked CR, JQ62 SYD-MEL. Lowly SG here.
QF website says "1 checked bag included". But JQ PNR says "no checked in bags". Not a biggie as I will most likely by HLO. But want to clarify with the brains here if this discrepancy is simply a glitch or are there no checked bags for QF CR flying JQ.
Historically, when booked QF CR on JQ, I was able to check bags - don't see why that should have changed. But still wanna check.
Thank you.
Do you have an EF account (free or paid)?, you can see what seats are already taken and what are just blocked). Thanks for that, I guess I'll just keep checking in between now and T-24.
Would be nice to get a bulkhead seat.

And the outcome @DejaBrew - get home on time?Suspected that may have the case. Cheers @MEL_Traveller and @Warragul

Probably the sister site to AFF… Pointhacks… is a good place to start.Hello everyone- big newbie here.
I'm trying to learn more about the best ways for points hacking in Australia (credit cards, other ways to earn extra bonus points etc) and was wondering if anyone could point me in the direction of some good educational resources.
Thank you in advance!
Smooth sailing. Early to board, early departure, early arrival. Biggest gripe was for disgruntled pax hearing “Final Boarding” calls some 10 mins before boarding was scheduled to commence per the QF app and airport boards. And the outcome @DejaBrew - get home on time?
There's a few things you need to check to make it work - and it's not intuitive (like a lot of things on Qantas' systems)Not a newbie but trying to do something that I do not have any experience in.
I will be travelling with my sister on a BNE-NLK flight. I have one complimentary lounge pass and was looking to purchase another for my sister. When I use the Link or Buy option on the website it does show the flight and then when that is selected it shows myself and my sister as the passengers. However, this is in a section that says "You can choose to use your Complimentary Lounge Invitation." and then there is a dropdown against each passenger name with a _single_ option showing my lounge invite. I can select this for either passenger (me or my sister) and then of course the option vanishes for the other passenger and the Continue button become available.
So it seems that at this step I can link /transfer my existing single invite to one pax, but it is unclear whether (or how ?) I can purchase an additional invite.
Possibly this will be at the next step, but I am a little reluctant to link the invite until it is clear that I can purchase another, as there is no point just one of us getting into the lounge.
Can someone more familiar with this process advise me ?
Apologies for the newbie question as possibly it will be obvious on the very next step in the process.
Thank you.I had to cancel a paid J domestic fare @ozflier earlier this year.
QFF points balance didn't change but my Amex points are in the -ve.

My points go directly to Qantas at the end of each billing cycle.
I don't use this card currently but when I do, I will have to spend $2429+ to get back to earning - hope that makes sense!
So my thoughts would be your award ticket should be safe - happy to have others chime in.
