I am probably showing my AFL-centric, sandgroperism by only associating "The King" with Carey. Sorry to those I misled!!

I never knew Wally had the nickname "The King"..and he probably has a superior claim to the title as well. I should improve my understanding of the other football codes in Aus.

Most News Ltd papers in Australia are a joke. They are nothing more than sleazemags, appealing to the lowest common denominator. Doesn't suprise me that they see something like a petty argument from a wayne kerr wanabee to be important.

I never knew Wally had the nickname "The King"..

I think he is more formally know as the "Emperor of Lang Park". But "The King" is also acceptable, despite the suggestion that carey might possibly be in the same league.

I when a bit old school on the topic - I thought they must be showing a Graeme Kennedy's greatest hits on select TVs in the QC.
