Have you had coffee at Amelia's on George @drron?
A barista friend of mine knows Amelia and swears by her coffee.
I can answer this ! No, we are not really coffee aficionados, in the USA/Asia I love Starbucks frappuccinos :oops:, and I cant drink tea/coffee after 3pm or I wont sleep !!

Friday and we tried a new restaurant - Riverview at Riverside.Run by a Vietnamese couple.Nice food but they admit they have cut down on the herbs to suit the locals.A Tassie SB and we shared the scallops with green onion.

Mrsdrron had the lemongrass beef which was too westernised but my Vietnamese beef salad was more authentic.

The road continues on close to the North esk river.Very scenic but very few places to stop.It is the road that continues on to the Ben Lomond range.
But we turned off on to the Deddington road so mrsdrron could admire the letterboxes that were old microwave ovens. On the way back down you get good views of the Ben Lomond range.

So Tuesday 12/10 Mrsdrron's last night before flying home.and dinner at another favourite Cataract on Paterson. You do need to book here as quite popular with the locals.Quick friendly service and decent food.
We shared a dozen mixed oysters then mrsdrron had the slow cooked beef cheeks and I had the ribs. Both with really tender and tasty meat.

The weekend came and for the first time in 4.5 months here in Launceston both days were basically fine so off to the bush.Saturday and I headed towards the Orchid reserve outside Latrobe. I stopped on the way in Railton as there bakery was open for the first time when I have gone past. The Limestone bakery.Sadly no scallop pies but a nice vanilla slice and a coffee.

And a couple of Railton's buildings.
