Well Mal, you were close ...it certainly started about AA, but only the fact that it is their 25th anniversary...and that I'm now an AA convert (but everybody here knows that anyway). You were spot on about the misinterpretation on the FF points cost, admin and I discussed that this afternoon.
markis10, I don't know how to react to your first comment :? but you are correct, most of the facts (and quotes) were spot on. The only disappointment was information that I had given not making the article - but space would have played a part in that. I get that seat allocation now anyway, given that I (still) have the base AA level (eqiuvalent to QF Bronze), but I'll try and use point upgrades as much as I can to get decent seat in J until I get AA Plat status. But even that doesn't really help under the QF computerised seating plan. You're right, maybe I should send a copy to AA Marketing.
serfty, I think it had more to do with lack of space - I was surprised with how much we actually got.
tuapekastar, agree with the accuracy. Steven admitted that he didn't have a huge knowledge of FF programs, but took the time to talk to Clifford Reichlin and me at length. I also have him the name of my contact in Virgin Blue and I know he spoke to them as well (I checked with my contact this afternoon...)
Autographs..I think it's a little too early for that, reggie.
