Yes, just like you can be Platinum if you already have LTG/LTS or Gold if you already have LTS

Yeah mate definitely, P1 is still a step above LTP, so if you achieve the SC earn you'll be upgraded.

So they programmed "Take the loyalty credit and add it to the lifetime total, then subtract the same amount from the lifetime total"

rather than programming <nothing>. As in, "Don't add the loyalty credit to lifetime total"

I offer my services to Qantas IT to save them programming time.

I think we are seeing the real reason QF back tracked their DSC and LT reversal. Their interns couldn't churn out the code in time.
