If it wasn’t for the no sale fares this would be a good deal and I would be considering booking a trip.

With no sale fares I’d be looking at Flex Y rather than Sale J. I haven’t got this offer though.

Pineappleskip, who is right for SCs, got the offer lunchtime yesterday. Mrs Pineapple, who could always use some more SCs, missed out. Just clicking on the link in the offer email took me direct to a ‘registration confirmed’ page.

Also received the offer. Anyone know if the offer includes the domestic leg as well, ie. Adelaide to HK via Sydney?

My reading of the very lengthy fine print suggests no, on the basis of this:

An Eligible Flight for the purpose of this promotion means an international Qantas operated flight with a QF flight number on your ticket

There is fine print elsewhere about multiple bonus SC offers applying at one time, with the example of making a booking when a DSC and a 1.5 SC are concurrently running, where one gets the DSCs but no further icing on that cake. Not aware of another such running now, but suggests such offers might get more frequent in future.

Also intrigued about the double AFF thread bonus this offer has generated . And writing in a packed SYD QP, possibly related to the proliferation of such offers .

Will be a while yet before we get any indication about that. The open offer was for flying through till the end of August, so there's unlikely to be another open to all offer for at least a few months. Hopefully they'll do another open to all offer in late June or in July/August.

Re the offer itself - not very lucrative, as Sale fares are not eligible. Was looking to book J sale fares to NZ and Asia, but will skip this one and wait

I’d love the offer right now as I’m comparing flight options for o/s travel in August. This would clinch the deal for a QF booking. But alas the DSC gods are not looking down on me.

I was a bit annoyed when email arrived yesterday as I just booked some work flights last Thursday - but then saw it was "international" only so no loss as my bookings were all domestic.

I already have my international flights for this year booked (June and Dec), and its doubtful I could get away internationally again between Jan and Mar - so this is the 2nd offer in a row now I wont be benefitting from.

Booked an international flight (out in sale and return in Flex) on Friday 3PM.
Then got this same DSC promo yesterday.
I don't suppose there is anything I can do about it now is there ?
Apart from book another eligible fight I suppose. Which I don't have anything at the moment.

If the payment hasn't been made yet/completed yet, you can do a new booking.

I hope so too. When the first DSC was released, I booked all my flights until 31 Aug 2019/ Hopefully, there is one more coming in Aug

Huh? Cancel your flex for a credit and then rebook a one way in flex? The sale fare outbound isn't going to get you DSC anyway.

You must be special in all my time as a P1 I have never received any type of targeted offer be it DSC, 50% DSC or points.

I just received this targetted e-mail two weeks after receiving a DSC offer for Premium Class travel to Singapore on QF flights. QF are seemingly pumping these out as frequently as possible to fatten up their bottom line prior to EOFY!

Seems that the GV rules are intact so perhaps I grab one of those to be handy if there's a need...
