For those interested, I’m thinking a pre-dinner meet-up at the Surry Hills Hotel from around 4:30pm?

I’m staying at the Mantra Sydney Central (virtually in front of the Chinatown Light Rail stop) for anyone who wants to meet me there around 4pm and head on up.

And now, we’ve boarded well on time and has now been sitting for 25 minutes waiting for paperwork or something. Flighty told me a 30 minutes delay but the pilot said upfront 5 minutes maybe 10. Now I know who to believe.

Seatbelt sign has been turned off and the pilot has just exited the plane.

Flighty has just said a further 20 minute delay. Engineer on board.



Pilot has just come on again and said just another five minutes. Do I believe him?

Was at Chatswood and saw the metro board that buses replacing trains. Going to message you when home but you have found out that no metro this weekend.

Realised the Surry Hills Hotel is only 7-8min walk from where I’m staying, so probably won’t look to leave and go there till 4:30 or so. If anyone gets there first, grab a spot
