Hi

I heard from an FA that works for Jetconnect that they no longer operate the SYDCHC service and it's now Australian planes/crew. Does anyone know if there will still be AVOD on the 738 now? Last time I flew to ZQN (also Australian plane/crew) there was no AVOD.

Thanks!

That is correct, it will be the luck of the draw what plane you get, its around 50% this month to date that has seen an AVOD aircraft operating.

Scored a 738 ZNE-PER yesterday, I'd be interested to the know the stats of their useage on those routes (ie ZNE, KTA & PHE). Very pleasant surprise.

They will do everything they can to get a 738 with AVOD (rego VZL to VZZ).

Interesting you say that 11SJW. I have been doing quite a bit of travel and of course hear from the FIFO guys at work, the BNE, SYD, MEL flights from KTA are seeing a pretty regular AVOD equipped plane by the sounds. But I have scored the BSI planes a couple of times and 70% of flights KTA-PER this year that I have taken have had AVOD equipped 738's.

Very nice way to blast away 2hrs, even better for the 6hr Eastern States flights!

Though I would like to see all th3 738's fitted so atleast we have a consistent product and not always having to cross our fingers.....hopefully this is in the pipeline Qantas/Red Roo??
