Noooooohooooo- the fritters are gone from the breakfast menu o_O :( At least in Sydney they are.

But everything is in shambles here at the moment- no priority queue until August, had to wait with the great unwashed for almost an hour to get through emigration and security. The poor check in and lounge staff has to cop it and this is most definitely not their fault:rolleyes:

Looks generally as if the menu is a bit “light” now...

According to a thread on AusBT, the deep fryer in the SYD F Lounge kitchen had to be removed temporarily as part of the refurbishment works - something to do with tiling...

This also means no S&P squid for the next couple of weeks! Quelle horreur!

Yes- there’s some reno work going on, that will be it then. On the brighter side, there’s still eggs Benedict and plenty champagne and I’ve managed to snatch a slot in the spa ;)

Looks like no pancakes either. Hopefully they're back before July...

Jeez I hope immigration sorts itself out this afternoon! Otherwise by the time we catch that damn bus we won’t get any FLounge time anyway!

Sydney menu is a bit limited. Was going to snack on a plate of chips as I’m not ready for dinner yet. No dice.

Calamari definitely off the menu until the renovations are done. No problem for me as I've never had the salt and pepper delicacy but Mrs 340 and the fritters....

Is priority queue down for security check as well? I dont mind the normal queue for passport but security check on a busy day is extremely long.

Access to a priority entrance has been lost as they have temporarily closed the general passenger entrance and they are directing everyone through a modified entrance adjacent to where the priority entrance was. Once inside it’s the same number of gates and security points as there were previously. I went through yesterday morning at 7.00am and it was working fine. QF were not handing out express passes as there is no priority service.

Yes. It’s all in. Blissfully quiet on Monday afternoons.

Outbound Express Path in SYD is closed for the next 4 months.
