Suites savers now available

Interesting one yesterday - tried to get F saver then Suite PEK-SIN-MEL for Feb 24 - SQ227 on 380 shows unavailable but 217 77W and 237 773 show available - times don't really suit though.

So I searched PVG-SIN-MEL and lo and behold 380 227 shows available. So onto phone to Crystal in KF call ctr who chases it up for me and after 5 mins on hold returns to tell me cannot get 227 coupled with any connection ex PEK on that day because PEK pool of Suite savers exhausted.

WOW I did not know that - even on onward connections there is limit of saver redemptions from origin ports - now how does a simpleton like me get his head around that?

Did you check PEK-SIN and SIN-MEL as separate bookings.
I had a situation where individual segments were available but not the two together.
Call to KF and they booked me over the phone

Yep - 227 just not available for ANY connection out of PEK that day.

With most major GDS's availability in fare buckets can be varied using various facets. Agency, Country, Origin, Destination & ticketing airline are among them.

Looks like they are using Origin here.

Sitting in TPR having a glass of VGD awaiting my first suites experience. It's taken 79 pages of this thread but finally I'm joining the club. I feel like the cat that got the cream!

cheers Danger UXB

I hope it is quiet and peaceful for you.

Wait until your derrière hits the leather followed by the closure of your suites doors.

Topped by the white linen dinner service in fine china.

Hot chocolate at 2am ? Yes, sir.

Wonton noodle when you get up. No issue at all, Sir.

Enjoy !

Danger UXB well done reading so many posts to whet your appetite.
One of my business partners is flying Suites shortly so he is going for no Book The Cook but will try the champagne, caviar and 2 Suites because he can (if available).

Master Cove
I learnt much from your good self and Master Cruiser Elite before loosing my suites virginity. I too went the no BTC option. 3A was selected on Cruiser's recommendation for maximum Krug consumption with the left hand and of course the second suite was "politely" asked for and greatfully received for sleeping in. The red St-Estephe was selected with dinner on your recommendation and whilst in TPR how could one not indulge in the fois gras burger with quail egg washed down with some Pauillac. Yes I think I ticked a lot of boxes on my first Suites experience but to top it all off I have my next one booked for April 2nd , 8 weeks and counting!

Vive Le Suites Saver!

Cheers Danger UXB

In our business all of our partners have now travelled on the A380 Suites and have all said it was a wow. My SIL and niece had trouble believing it and now my brother and my two sons are booked.

Having flown QF MEL-DXB-LHR A380F and SQ CDG-SIN-MEL Suite/First, I have stopped using my QF earning cards.....

The service on SQ is just amazing..
I had fallen asleep while watching a movie... crawled into the second suite, and when I went back to the movie watching suite later, the SQ Angel apologised profusely that the movie had kept on running after she had accidentally knocked the remote while tidying up suite one. She had rewound to where she thought I had stopped the movie. She was correct!

Everytime I went to the toilet, i found that the suite had been tidied up. The bed had been tidied up each time as well, sheets tucked and pillows fluffed again, no pressure to get out of bed till less than 30 minutes before arrival.

In comparison, there were only three passengers on QF F (+1 and myself), no offer to make a bed in another seat, we were both made to stand while they made our beds..... sad really.

These little touches on SQ cost zip but they make you feel appreciated.
Thanks to the pioneers - Cruiser Elite, Cove et al. We are no longer SQ Suite virgins!

A question for the experts.

I would like to stay in SIN for a few days during a return trip of SYD-SIN-CDG (SYD to CDG outbound but stop over in SIN for a few days on way back to SYD).
Would the stop over in SIN qualify for a redemption saver fare? If yes, how would I do this (can't seem to do this online)? Call SQ?

Thanks

KK

And the reverse applies too.

Whenever I return to the loo, the paper is folded afresh - like when you first check in your hotel.

Every time !

A fresh water bottle and a Suite tidy up is a lovely touch. My sister in law really enjoyed the Krug and she does not normally drink champagne.
I have not looked but are those chocolates on the London run from Hotel Chocolat?
We have a store within walking distance in Canary Wharf when we are living in London.
Just like Cruiser Elite I am pleased that you like what we like.
To do the round the world from London we use the AA points to go on a BA 747 refurb in First to Los Angeles. The BA bed is a simple dial up and seats in row 2 for 62,500 AA points are worth it.
Many of our runs are purely there and back but figuring out the way to connect a round the world was an interesting game of chance.

KitKat you can phone and the staff are lovely.

KK stopovers not bookable on Saver redemptions online - you need to call KF call ctr and cost is extra USD100 IIRC - I will pm you Crystal's ext in KF call ctr - she will get it sorted for you - but she is on leave back home in Malaysia for another week.

Don't forget the FA darting out of the galley to hold the toilet door open for you, too!

Thanks Cruiser Elite, I love the 24 hour line..... seats sorted

Hi gents and ladies of the SQ suite redemption world,

I'm looking for pre xmas space for 2 F passengers from FRA-JFK.

I can get one seat easy as on all dates, but no space for 2.

Am I best off calling and asking to waitlist for 2, or booking 1, waiting for space to open up again, and booking another on the same plane?

In short, how is everyone getting 2x F seats?

Cheers,

Alex

It's rare to see 2 x F (Saver) so I know some members like Cove were booking 1 x Saver, waiting for another seat to open up at standard level. Therefore giving them two seats.

At the end of the day you're going to have to be extremely fortunate to get 2 x Saver in Suites.

Alex try calling and if that doesn't work you could do separate flights or book one in Saver and the other one in Standard.
We have a ride in Suites this week and that is one Saver and one Standard.
i am thinking about London so I might go to Melbourne or Sydney to start a complete run in Suites that you cannot do out of Perth.
