What the hell is this? You can't trust them being alone?

On the other hand, I guess chivalry isn't quite dead - very honorable of you to relegate yourself to the back. :D

I/we can trust them. But one of us doesn't trust others.

Actually it's probably part of the same anxiety that gives one of us a fear of flying.

So if I wanted 3 F savers on the one flight I need to book 1 at a time? Eg between 3 days? Will that work?

i am also interested in the answer to this question. can anyone who was purchased a suite saver confirm if there is any suite saver awards on the same flight available a few days after original booking?

My experience is that they only release 1 x Saver Suite per flight. If you need two then maybe book the second on business and do a separate booking waitlist for suite.

Its so early in the new regime to tell whether more that 1 suite is available, but I guess you need ot just keep checking for flights!

FWIW I am keeping a real close eye on this, we are deciding on honeymoon destination's at the moment. MEL-SIN in suites would be a good start to something like Bora Bora or Maldives.

You do know where Bora Bora is? As getting there from MEL via SIN would be a mite indirect ;)

Oh yes I know, hence the reason Maldives is winning for me. :D I know it's a long long way out of the way but we're thinking of doing a few days back around SIN.

Yes Maldives may be good, if you want the latter part of the honeymoon to be as good as the Suite first leg......otherwise I could forsee some blushing brides may on arrival in SIN (unless that are flight-nuts) get a mite upset of the thought of then flying all the way back to NZ before heading off to Bora Bora !!!! In which case you suite may not be so sweet after all ;)

FWIW - I currently have 4 x Suite Savers booked.

Now showing zero Suite Saver availablility on those flts - Standard and Full available.

Suite Savers showing available day prior and day after on all 4 flts I have booked - does that help?

Out of interest:

* are all 4 of the same flight?
* if so were they booked all at once, or 1 at a time as they became available?
* if one at a time, how long before the new Saver became available?

No they are 4 seperate bookings on 4 seperate flts all on different days:

MEL-SIN-HKG Mar 27, 2013 (Both sectors in Suites)
MEL-SIN-HGM May 4, 2013 (Both sectors in Suites)
MNL-SIN-MEL Apr 4, 2013 (SIN-MEL sector suite)
MNL-SIN-MEL May 12, 2013 (SIN-MEL sector suite)

So it looks like once the first Suite Saver booked then you need to redeem Suite Standard to get second suite - as cove did.

But as someone remarked early days yet I guess we will get a better handle on things at some future date.

Thanks.

I have been doing some dummy bookings and have found only 1 saver per flight, but easy at present to get on many flights. I suspect this availability will drop once they have been available a bit longer, and more people know they can now be booked.

I was also looking in part as in the past when SQ have made changes you can sometimes get temporarily availability of extra seats. For example when they change plane types to Milan , I was able to book 3 Saver F's all on the same plane for two Easters ago..

What terrific news to wake up to this morning - thanks for posting Danger, and kudos to SQ for making this change :D Now it will be much easier to tick SQ Suites off my bucket list.

Does throw a bit of a spanner in the works re planning a MEL-CDG and vv for next August though - was going to burn off excess USDM (truly excess - got more than I'm comfortable holding due to a cancelled booking) to fly SYD-xBKK-CDG on TG F Suites, but I've wanted to try SQ Suites for so long... decisions, decisions. And very much a champagne problem :)

I just did a London Suites Saver and a Suites Standard ex Singapore for my niece and sister in law during school holidays so that is sweet. My 14 year old niece likes the Suites even though there is no champagne for her.

Now I had to do two separate bookings of one person at a time. The website has one Saver and a Standard fare but I could not get one of each in one go. Having a 14 year old travel separately to London was not the plan.
Doing two single goes works fine to get both passengers on the same flight.

Might be a newbie question guys, though is there a difference between the A380 and B777-300 Suites, or are they decked out the same? I've only done A380 flight before...
