mrsmart 217 is showing F availability so no reason that I can imagine why this cannot be confirmed - call again and tell them you want to upgrade your booking to F Saver - it will cost you extra ~32K pts as you need to pay F rates complete journey - if the agent you get cannot help you ask for a Manager and explain thoroughly to them - please report back.

OT - where / when did 247 / 248 Spring from - have I been asleep at the wheel?

Hey all,

Might not be the right place for this question but if I wanted to xfer citibank reward points on my credit card to my partners KF account is that possible? It doesn't look like the page stops me but the first and last name on the citibank form is my name not the wife so just wanted to make sure.

Don't think you can unless you do it thru VA first and then do a family transfer to her before sending to kris. But you will loose out on the VA to kris transfer. Why not send to you kris account and buy her the ticket?

In my excitement I made the wife xfer her points from Velocity to KF and she's about 9K short of a o/w F redemption. Is there a way that we can pool points on KF to book 2 x F seats o/w? I know that I can just pay the top up but just wanted to check there wasn't another option available. I have the points (or more to the point can xfer citibank to KF)

What I should have done was got her to xfer the points to my velocity account and then transferred that to my KF. Such an idiot :/

Do you have VA points? Transfer 9k x 1.35 to her, then to her KF account?

if you want the online discount, you will still need to book seperately though.

The issue seemed to be that they couldn't see that sector as available (even though I could), but is that because they were looking at the whole booking in F, rather than just the one sector?

I know you answer this question once a week – but is there a better number to call? I've been using the +61 2 8228 1188.

Not sure if SQ will allow you to change your existing booking to be mixed class.

Yes should not be a problem to upgrade one or more sector on a confirmed booking if higher class showing availability and you are prepared accept full booking at highest sector class rates.

Has anyone ever experienced different availability to the call centre?

Several times - call Ctr has final say - if they can't see it on their screens then it is not available - web site can have glitches.

Just called again – new agent, same response. They can't see availability, even though I can.

It's maddening! I can see it and actually book it, but apparently the call centre cannot.

Maybe I'll just wait and see if it clears on its own.

Fair enough. 5K points definitely better than $550. Don't worry, we've all made mistakes that have cost a lot more than 5,000 points !

Me too but can't find it - I can see a section to add FF memberships but I don't think that's what digpomi was referring to.
