Suggestions from LA in February

Looking for some interesting suggestions.... our next trip is mid January, a cruise down to Mexico from LA, followed by a few days in San Diego. We then have 15 days to fill in before flying back from LA. Given that it’s winter, we are open to ideas. Have recently been to Mexico City, San Miguel de Allende and Yucatan..... so any other thoughts?
