Strategy to obtain US Amex

Is this for a new application or have you been a customer in good standing for a long time and they’ve randomly asked for this again? Have they frozen all your Chase accounts in the interim? (I’m assuming you have other Chase accounts).

For new applications. 5 ?chase cards already . This is for verification.

Thanks for clarifying. My ITIN has likely expired so I'll need to refresh my ITIN letter accordingly. I recall at the start of my relationship with Chase, they did freeze all my accounts and logins and wanted me to go into a branch. Luckily, the banker at the branch remembered me and got it all unlocked. i had transferred my money out of chase but it's now my main banking hub so would hate for that to happen again.

I'm otherwise not looking to make another application with Chase or elsewhere at this time. if they need a "fresher" ITIN letter, I'd start to prepare it accordingly.

Yeah do that as if will take a while to receive . There is a substitute that won’t show it’s expired , not sure if they will accept it though .

I have one existing Chase card and have been to hell and back trying to get another one - they keep requesting different combinations of name, date of birth, itin, and address verification, but always end up rejecting it and sending a letter to my account claiming victory on my behalf for blocking a suspected fraudulent attempt at using my identity... And calling recon/fraud teams have done nothing to help. I went into a branch recently to get this resolved but apparently because my card is one of the cobranded ones, all the staff can do is call the same teams for me. Very very annoying! At least the existing card still works just fine.

Yes, Chase is very good with doing all that stuff. 🤷‍♂️

I have CSR and Business ink. Earlier this year had applied for business CSR and refused my limits as I didn’t need them. Was declined as had too much credit apparently. Just product changed from CSP to CSR (blew up the SUB for CSR and didn’t get the 200k for business variant. I think the personal is the better card for my needs than the business variant.
