Strategy to obtain US Amex

Firstly, does the $140 include Australian GST? Quite a few of the US mail forwarders collect Australian GST on items shipped to Australia.

Secondly in relation to whether it will be cheaper elsewhere, of course it will be. I don’t see USGM as a parcel forwarder. They’re good for mail, but they are not for parcels. I’ve also found some of the USGM FedEx alternatives to be far cheaper than USPS (and arguably more reliable).

I have used CGW for parcels. I am sure there are better parcel forwarding services out there and CGW is not the cheapest, although it is cheaper than USGM in my experience.

EDIT: just had a look at USGM cost to send one letter I have sitting there to Australia. USPS First Class is $5, FedEx International Connect is $58, other FedEx options are $78-84, USPS Priority Mail is $116.
What is CGW for parcels please?

$140 inclusive GST but item value is $600 only

Also, when you buy something you sent directly to CGM without issue?

Once I purchased Dell and have it sent to myUS and my order got cancelled and I had to have it sent to USGM.

Comgateway. Some vendors may have an issue with it but none of mine have to date.

So that means the shipping is $80 (plus $60 GST). Have you tried the other options USGM are offering? Based on my post, there should be some cheaper options on USGM.

The one I got $140US was the cheapest that I can have with tracking.

I lost some letter that got my CC before when I choose the cheapest without tracking with USPS so I avoided that
