Looks like I'll stick with my aussie cards
Read the thread. We all get points for cards if not what's the point? My understanding is to do the global transfer. Is there a way to get the points offer with this
I hold 8 US Amexs
Do we all wave and say 'hi' to the Amex team watching here?Since posting this I've been FR'ed.

Fingers crossed. My credit was chopped significantly because my bank statement I provided wasnt opened for long at the time of FR, (so pick the right bank statements to submit would make a different I guess) and been restored after almost a year.Since posting this I've been FR'ed.

Did you end up submitting your US bank statements or AU bank statements? I heard that we could just provide AU based payslips and that would be sufficient?Fingers crossed. I submitted U.S bank statement where I just opened for over 1 month at the time. But according to @levelnine posts A.U payslips should be accepted, just don't ask, but submit and see what they say.Did you end up submitting your US bank statements or AU bank statements? If you are holding Au Amex credit card, you can apply (GT) for US AMEX Credit cardWhich banks are best to open as a first bank in USA from Australia?
I believe AU payslips have not worked recently for FR.I submitted U.S bank statement where I just opened for over 1 month at the time. But according to @levelnine posts A.U payslips should be accepted, just don't ask, but submit and see what they say.
Can’t be done. You also need a US credit/charge amex for at least 35 days to get a checking with Amex.Hi guys has anyone managed to open up a amex checking account without an itin?
Thinking of trying for an Amex checking account for P2 as a method of being able to transfer Aus Amex points over to it. I know the checking account offers a debit card where you can collect Amex points so Iam hoping you could also transfer Aus Amex points to that account but iam not 100% sure if you can.
Thank you for your helpIf you are holding Au Amex credit card, you can apply (GT) for US AMEX Credit card
and if you are a Premier member of AU HSBC, you can apply for US HSBC Checking Account.
you can start US journey from there.
Anyone know best way to get a us address and phone numberThank you for your help
